Hands on Workshops is a unique program to get you and your family outdoors to learn about nature and do fun activities. The workshops are Fishing Fairs, Family Campers, Families in  Parks, Outdoor Expo, Web of Nature web site,  Nature to the classroom, Bike the Park and Proyecto Wild teacher training . The only prerequisites to bring the family pre-registration is required due to limited space and pass on your experience to others.

Fishing Fairs As a family that has absolutely no experience in fishing this is an ideal workshop for you and yours. Volunteers will show you the basic skills to go out and enjoy a family day fishing. Hands-On Activity. *Pre-registration is required due to limited s pace . Bring your own rod and reel or we can provide one for the class.

Family Camping: The three day program for the family to get out and appreciate the natural world. A chance for the family to learn  outdoor     skills together in a fun and relaxing atmosphere. Volunteers will show you how to set up a tent, kayak, fish and  more. Hands-On Activity. *Pre-registration is required due  to limited space . Bring your own sleeping bag, tent, rods, etc or we can provide one for the day.
