American Culture:
- This course covers the typical aspects of daily life in the United States
focusing on issues such as family values, experiences, census statistics,
governments, etc.
Literature:
- This course enhances learned reading and analytical skills and involves
students in a challenging literary research, analysis, and author
interpretation. The student is able to present different perspectives about
the reading and develop arguments based on literary content.
Speech:
- This course prepares students to develop and defend topics or deliver
speeches to a group of people. A fundamental objective of this course is
to develop a high self-esteem for students in order to allow them to speak
English in public for professional and/or academic purposes.
Essay Writing and Research:
- This course is designed to teach students how to skillfully research, revise,
and write. It will allow students to smoothly and successfully transition from
our program to the academic program and meet all requirements thereto.
